The time it takes to receive your results depends on:
Swiss Post: Your samples are usually delivered to the lab next working day after you have sent them. The labs in Luzern also receive samples on Saturdays. We send you a notification once your samples are delivered and scanned by the lab.
Analysis time: Most analyses are completed within one day. Some analyses take longer, or are only done once or twice a week.
Tests with a doctor's report: If your test includes a doctor's report, allow for 1-2 more working days before the results are published.
Tests with a consultation: If your test includes a consultation, you will receive a message to book your consultation as soon as the analyses are completed. Your results will be made available after your consultation.
We send you a notification once your test results are available.

Exceptions
Public holidays: Please take into account (cantonal) public holidays of the lab location where your test is analysed. The lab can be found in the table above.
Delays at Swiss Post: Internal delays at Swiss Post may cause samples to arrive a working day later.
Tight blood quantity: If the amount of blood in your sample is less than the lab typically needs, they put extra effort completing all analyses.
Edge cases: Sometimes a result is on the edge between positive and negative. In such cases, your sample is sent to another lab, to confirm the results.
Frequently Asked Questions
The results of my Premium STD test are in, but I'm still waiting for my Basics STD test (or vice versa)
Our STD tests are analyzed in 2 different labs (see above). Sometimes Swiss Post is faster delivering to one or the other lab.
My sample arrived more than 1 day after I sent it. Is the analysis still reliable?
Blood samples are usually stable for a couple of days, depending on the analyses. Basics STD, HPV Check and Colon Cancer Screening samples remain stable a few days longer. The labs always check if your sample can reliably be analysed. In case of doubt, they verify with us when the test was activated and which sampling time you reported. We will inform you if a sample is too old and provide you with a new test kit to re-test.
